Gregor Maver (1978) works in the field of ceramics and installation. He studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Ljubljana. In his work, he primarily deals with three basic areas. First, it involves processes of identity and identification of an individual in society, second time that permeates all aspects of social life and the third archive, where he examines the relation of individual elements of the archive as an artwork. He exhibits and participates in art residencies in Slovenia and abroad. His works are in private and public collections of art. He is a member of Association of ceramists and potters of Slovenia and a mentor at UNITRI University Nova Gorica (Ceramics) and at Javni sklad Republike Slovenije za kulturne dejavnosti (Conceptual art).
