This idyllic region is famous for its natural coastal beauty, and a popular destination for travellers from around the world. Sarajai is a true contemporary Creative, and has worked in a variety of creative industries over the past 30 years, including a career in World Music & Jazz performance, Multicultural arts project development, freelancing as a Graphic designer, and as a Visual artist. She has travelled extensively to the UK, Europe, South America, Caribbean, India, New Zealand and Indonesia. This has given her ample exposure to the myriad of cultures that are reflected in her artworks. Over many years of study, Sarajai has developed a unique artistic style, recreating and being influenced by indigenous art and cultures from around the globe. Her passion is to reimagine and reflect the totemic and “wild elegant” aesthetic of traditional cultures, and perhaps traces of her Islander heritage.
