Shark Tooth Painting

Artist Statement: My artistic influences come from many things, but mostly other artists that I admire and follow. I am currently focused on drawing and painting figures in fun, sexy, and brightly colored settings. I work with digital, watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints. I grew up drawing and painting wildlife-focused art but in the early 2010s I became bored with the subject matter. After being exposed to a few artists with a bit edgier artwork that I found appealing, I decided to shift my focus to figurative art. My paintings typically incorporate risqué elements such as tattoos, lingerie, and other accessories. I also like to use extremely vibrant colors in my paintings. These colors and elements combined are meant to draw the viewers eye, even if their instinct is to look away.
