Study model1 Painting

In my motives I start almost always from figuration, the signs of the shell figure of the things that surround us, but I process the motif with color, powerful broad brush strokes, lines, stains, and even lumps of color. By releasing colors and brush strokes, I want to give a strong impression that something is happening inside and around the motif, sometimes it ends in pure artistic form, almost abstractly, and most often in a strong expressionist experience. Born and living in Zvornik until 1980, when I moved to Split in Kroatien. And I enrolled in Split at the University of Arts and Art History in 1981 where I graduated with a degree in painting from Professor Ivan Krstulovic in 1986. In 1988 until the beginning of the war in 1991 I studied art history at a postgraduate study in Dubrovnik. I have been a member of the Association of Artists of HDLU (HULU) Split and HDLU Zagreb since 1989. I have been living in Sweden since 1994 in January. I worked at a high school in Sweden as a fine arts painter from 2000 to 2013 in Karlskoga. In Sweden I was a member of the organization of artists KRO and Stockholm. I now live in Örebro, Sweden and am a member of the Örebro Läns Konstförbund (ÖLKf), and HULU Split in Kroatien. Had many individual and group exhibitions. Last exhibition was in Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2022: INTERBIFEP, INTERNATIONAL BIENNAL FESTIVAL OF PORTRAIT. Spring Salon; 2023, and 2024.
