I am an internationally-minded artist who believes in MUTUALITY and RESPECT. I stand against bullies, power-mongers, and abusers. This is reflected in my intense abstract art. I am also a bestselling evidence-based design artist. This art is based on actual medical/scientific studies on health and happiness. In 2024, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine interviewed me for my “happy” art and my book, 100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design. My art was also on the Jan/Feb 2025 cover of Healthcare Design Magazine. My art appeared in the May and June 2025 issues of Condé Nast's House & Garden print magazine. The art directors also selected two of my paintings as the entrance paintings to the shopping section of their digital magazines. In 2050, an estimated 70% of the world’s population will live in cities. What if we focused on making our cities smart and sustainable? My Smart City Art series promotes this planet-healing idea. I also worked in Tokyo as an English rewriter for the anime/animation industry, which included working on a Studio Ghibli film, done by Hayao Miyazaki, before it got sold to Disney. I believe their influences come out in my Smart City Art abstracts.
