Born in Switzerland and living between Rome and Paris, I practice photography since I am a teenager. After a first career as a lawyer and advisor, I have decided to professionalize my practice. I studied photography at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia e Cinema in Rome, specially to deepen my knowledge on silver salts photography and traditional printing techniques. Mostly an analog photographer (Hasselblad, Rolleiflex) my body of work mainly focuses on landscapes, nature, and human subjects. My work has been shown in different exhibitions in Rome and Paris and was selected by the project Imago Mundi of the Benetton Foundation and its French collection «Instant Présent» in 2016, for my project on the global migration crisis. I consider photography as a major medium to interrogate the complexity of human beings and I believe that the power of images contributes to improve the world.
