Dr. Nevzat Yildirim is a well-established photographer who was born in 1987 in Adapazari, He graduated with honors from Kocaeli University Faculty of Fine Arts, majoring in Photography and Graphic Arts in 2010. In the same year, he received the ‘Young Photographers Award’ from the ‘Moon and Stars Project’ held in New York. Nevzat Yildirim’s works have been included in the permanent photography collection at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, one of the most prestigious museums globally in USA. In 2015, he completed his master’s degree (MA) in Photography at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Institute of Fine Arts in Istanbul. Artist is currently pursuing academic studies at Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, specializing in art and design especially in photography for his doctorate (PhD) program. Yildirim has been honored with more than 40 awards in national and international photography competitions, and his work is displayed in various private art collections. Having published two photobooks, he also currently serves as a jury in national photography competitions, contributing to the contemporary art circles in his home country. Yildirim is represented by the Albumen Art Gallery in London, as he continues his art career in Türkiye and the UK.
