Graduated at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts, Elena Ketra is an italian visual artist who lives and works between Venice and Rome, whose research deals with social issues, above all female empowerment and gender inclusion. Her works from "Girlpower", a rocking brass knuckles for fierce little girls, the "Serialmirrors" series, fetish mirrors that reflect stories of murderous women up to "Utereyes", the uterus with eyes that does not suffer but chooses, are united from that clear disposition to rebellion against assigned roles and gender stereotypes. In 2023, she presented in Rome the international premiere of the digital performance Sologamy, which addresses the social phenomenon of sologamy, allowing people to marry themselves online for the first time.
