**I've been organizing my art studio. If anyone would like to purchase my artworks, I would recommend to make a decision before the end of March. Most of artworks will not be available after middle of April, 2021. (Or some of artworks as Map project & Happy Mountain project will ship from Japan after this spring which might does more shipping fee which depends on where you live.)

This is an embroidery map of Middle Africa with cotton thread. Boundaries traced by needle hole.
(top edge of paper has little bended.

I would recommend a box frame which has space between art work and frame surface.

art work image shows pencil lines, however, it would be erase before ship it for collector. pencil lines are guide line for making it.

material: silkscreen paper, cotton thread.

Kyoko TAKEI / 武居京子 Japanese. Born in Japan. Lived in NY 1997-2021. [Art Statement] Invisible space between objects or conversations and the flow of time are my interests for both architecture jobs and artist expression. Even though the medium has been changing for my art, I have kept these themes. To design house was my childhood dream. I always draw a floor plan after I back from somebody’s house. It was fun to me instead of drawing dolls or flowers as other girls. It’s a 2-D expression with B&W pencil lines on paper, however, I can imagine the rooms and colors all over the drawing. Also I played making my own tiny house using Japanese folding mattress. It has just simple 3 walls. Such minimal room creation of my childhood towards my recent art works ‘Architecture Project’ and embroidery ‘Book Project’. If we have 6 plates, it would be fine. Half of 6 are still fine to be. Even 2 or 1 would be ok. However, a lot of people does not have even 1. For painting and resin covered sculpture art works are all about color reaction of each. Very straight art expression I try to do.
