Follow me by clicking on 'Following' above Creating is my obsessive compulsion. The search for what I want is sometimes obscure. Inspired by leaps of thought in my head, I am challenged to take things in hand and bend them to my will. Shapes and colours are my lifelong guides. Depending on context, insights, starting points and perspectives, they are always changing. They change over time, causing doubt and sometimes complete chaos. Another aspect in my work, besides form and colour, is the diversity of materials with their tipical properties. Here, too, lies a great challenge for me. I find it very important to master the techniques I need for my works myself. So that I can use and apply them in my work entirely as I see fit. Materials I work a lot with are; wax, clay, acrylic paint, oil paint, mixed media, yarns, bronze, metals and wood. Techniques that also pique my curiosity are; photography and digital imaging. These works challenge me. It feels good to experience that it stays in motion.
