Walter Sculpture

Gregory Williams was born and raised on Long Island NY. After graduating from Hauppauge High School, He attended SUNY Oneonta and began making art. In 1986 He enrolled at Stony Brook University as a studio art Major with a focus in metal sculpture. He worked closely with renowned artist Molly Mason. He also minored in art history with the prolific art critic Donald Kuspit. Both teachers gave Gregory high praise for his work before leaving. Having success with a show at the Union Gallery at Stony Brook, His next show was at the U gallery in NYC. Works appeared in juried shows on Long Island and in NYC. He moved to Los Angeles in 1993. 10 yrs and 2 kids later, He and his wife moved to a simpler life in Northern NH. The work produced during this time is now ready to be displayed.
