I am a self-taught artist, and I love working with texture, vibrant colors and 3-dimensional effects in 'wall art'.
Formally educated as an Architect and Industrial Designer, I’ve always been involved with creating 3-dimensional shapes in and around the built environment and with exciting color palettes.
About 9 years back, I started on my visual expressions on canvas as a hobby …. With experimentations in vivid colors and in 3-dimensional art.
My abstract paintings are created with heavy-body / high-viscosity professional grade acrylic paints (with a high concentration of finely ground pigment, and with high color-permanence ratings) - applied with a range of palette knives on gesso-primed and stretched canvas. I finish my artworks with 3 coats of varnish, to keep the artwork safe.
And my 3-dimensional Wall-Art pieces are created using paper-clay/paper-mache on canvas, finished with coats of acrylic paints and varnish.
