Karolina Szablewska

I was born in Poland and emmigrated to Canada when I was a child. I've lived in Ontario and Nova Scotia; currently, I reside in Montreal. I am a self-taught artist, but also have a BFA from NSCAD University. I work in film and as an illustrator. I have experience using a variety of mediums and portraying a variety of subjects. I make art that is dark or focuses on realism and is sometimes very traditional and academic, but I am heavily influenced by the entertainment industry and the comic and film narrative medium. I speak 3 languages: English, French, and Polish. I love being productive and I'm a hobbyist in knitting and ceramics.
