Ivan Kelarev

Member of the Eurasian Art Union. He received an individual art education in the workshop of engraving "Art Grad". The developer of graphic drawing techniques is heuristic graphics in the linocut.

He took orders for covers for music albums, organized a master class "IN THE FOOTPRINTS OF THE FIRST PRINTER," took part in the construction of ice sculptures in the State Museum-Reserve from Rostov the Great. More than 200 limited edition stamps are stored in private collections and funds in Russia, Europe and America.

The actor advocates the preservation and further development of the best traditions of printing and printing in the spirit of engraving masters, the author also emphasizes the value, importance and need for representatives of unique professions - engravers and book printers who presented humanity with a book, and with it access to knowledge and the possibility of the evolution of society.

Artist Ivan Kelarev opens a new horizon in the interaction between admirers of the esoteric genre, collectors and those for whom art is a profession (artists, art historians, museums, galleries, foundations, etc.). The artist conducts a large-scale and unprecedented work to create 333 of the strangest book illustrations for 12 books by Carlos Castaneda in the author's style.

1) The largest number of the MOST UNUSUAL strangest illustrations (333) in linocut from one artist for one of the most mysterious authors of the 20th century.

2) The largest number of copyright prints from linocut (999.999) from one artist to a collection of books by one writer. I.e. only 300 prints will be issued for each illustration.

In the framework of the art project, in addition to illustrations of the books, I pursue other goals:

1) The revival and popularization of traditional printed graphics as an area of art that presented the world with a repository of knowledge - the book.

2) Updating the socially significant topics raised by Castaneda for a deeper analysis of Castaneda's scientific work on the study of indigenous culture in the USA.
