Art Makessense

In my art I want to celebrate the beauty and sensuality of women. My creativity is a happy sensual seductive journey. No skinny models, but real delicious and curvy women are living in my paintings.

My favorite material are lino print and ink drawings. I also use markers, conté and pigments. Often I mix different media.

My examples and inspiration are Matisse, Gauguin Marlene Dumas and Nikki de Saint Phalle.

I work mainly from imagination and sometimes from a model. My ateliers are situated in Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Haarlem.

Studied to be an art teacher in Amsterdam. For three years I studied and worked with several Italian artists in Florence and Verona. There I professionalized skills like lino printing, etching and model painting.
