Jerry Slootstra

My artist name is ArtsTools and I make assemblages (combines) and have specialized myself in "Transfer Drawing" and "Transfer Printing". This was 2010.
Now I have started to paint based on figurative faces and torso's that sketch spontaneously from my hand.

My drawing teacher at high school told me in 1983 not to forget my spontaneous approach (Mr. Schoenmaker wiringherlant (1978-1983)).
This I completely did not understand and forgot and I never anticipated being an artist. In 2009/2010
I remembered his quote and until this day I am completely puzzled as to what he saw in 1983....
He was right though!!!!!

not yet.....but in 2011-2012 I have made more than 10.000 sketches, so some day this will get somewhere......
