Brenda Barnum

The major theme of this work is organic forms coinciding with an increasingly mechanical world.
The process of oil painting on canvas evolves in a similar manner as that in nature. The work is an evolution of forms that continually morph in to something completely new and wondrous.
Beginning with a personal narrative as a point of execution each painting becomes a piece of my timeline and an image in sequence.
