Dr. Katharina Belaga
Born and raised in Moscow, Katharina Belaga moved first to Vienna before settling in Munich, where she currently resides, works, and runs her studio. She regularly conducts workshops and offers individual sessions in areas like art-coaching, neurographic art, philosophy, and mathematics. Additionally, she organizes group art exhibitions as well as multidisciplinary events combining art, music, dance, and painting.
In her diverse projects, Belaga creates spaces that celebrate color, form, and sculpture. Inspired by music and dance, she provides a platform that sustains an ongoing creative and artistic process. "Most of my paintings are deeply connected to music—either sourced from external influences or arising organically from within," she says. "While I may work on a single painting for weeks, I deliberately refrain from any preconceived image construction. This allows the finished works to evolve naturally, requiring time for me to fully understand and evaluate them."
Belaga's works—created using acrylic, gouache, and oil—are characterized by their dynamism and power. She brings her devotion to the creative process to life through vibrant color compositions and an intuitive sense of form.
