Bella Gingell

Bella is an artist living on the west coast of England.

Painting in oils led to working in other mediums and now Bella is as happy working with clay as using a brush.

With work hung in the Museum of Modern Art and winner of the Green Door printmaking award in 2018, Bella has also been highly recommended for her oil paintings in the West Country.

Most recently Bella has since started working in clay with a special focus on the ancients.

“I believe it is the job of an artist to open a dialogue with the viewer; to depict the scene not as a photograph, but as an idea or thought. It doesn’t have to be a strong or powerful image, but it does need to have some quality which describes some human interaction.​ I hope that in printmaking I have achieved this”
