Betul Yuksel

Art is not only a form of expression for me, but also a journey of discovery into the depths of existence. As a sculptor, I also work in various other disciplines such as painting and photography. In my works, I combine abstract and figurative expressions to explore the inner world of humanity, emotional states, and the subconscious.
While questioning the relationship between colors and forms, I value allowing the viewer to add their own interpretation to the pieces. Through both recognizable figures and abstract compositions, I aim to help others explore their inner conflicts, freedom, and sense of self.
In my works, I primarily use oil paint, acrylic, and mixed media techniques, as well as materials like wood, metal, and stone for sculpture. I express myself on flat surfaces such as paper, canvas, and polymer clay, as well as three-dimensional materials for sculptures. The combination of these various techniques and materials allows each piece to offer a multidimensional narrative.
Art is a timeless form of communication. With my works, I aim to offer the viewer a new perspective and to establish a deep connection with them.
