Sammy Dijan

Born and raised in Queens, New York City. I currently live in Daytona Beach, Florida. As an Art Director, Graphic Designer, Fine Artist, with many years of experience, I am known for, thinking outside the box.I have vast experience working for many major accounts at some of New York City's most creative advertising, public relations agencies, studios and fortune 500 companies in the world, handling all of the creative concepts with an arsenal of artistic techniques, with the gift of creating visual originality, allowing my work to stand out among the competition, using the knowledge of the creative process from start to finish, with the passion to convey the desired visual message to the on looker. As a top graduate of the most highly acclaimed art school in the world, “The School of Visual Arts”, NYC.
I obtained the knowledge to be able to find my creative path. My art was featured in the school's art gallery, this achievement was an honor bestowed on few students. My art education began early in life, when I won a nationwide drawing contest and was awarded a first prize scholarship to the Art Instruction School. In high school, I majored in Commercial Art.

In 2009, I lived at the famous North Shore Towers in Queens NY a big complex of 3,000 residents. They held an art exhibition of some of my artwork pieces and the editor of the Tower Times Newspaper Mike Kohn approached me and really like my work and offered me to be the front cover artist for his newspaper that gets distributed monthly to all the residents of the North Shore Towers, Queens and Nassau County areas. During the six years that I lived there I accomplished 64 front cover pieces of artwork, that you can see some of them has a part of my massive portfolio at dijandesign.com
