Bruno Vázquez

When I paint, I seek to channel the profound connection I feel with life, people, and the myriad of emotions and sensations that define our existence. With just a few brushstrokes, I aim to convey my inner world—my moods, emotions, and thoughts—creating a bridge between my experiences and the viewer's perception.

Each color I use is a fragment of memory, a whisper from the past, and simultaneously, a spark of new emotion and energy. I believe that the right painting has the power to alter one's mood and, in doing so, transform the surrounding world.

My art is an invitation to feel, to connect, and to see the world through a lens of introspection and emotional resonance.

Art has been an integral part of my life from the very beginning. Growing up in a family of artists, I was immersed in creativity, which naturally led me to explore various artistic disciplines.

I pursued studies in architecture and worked professionally in the field for several years. My passion for visual storytelling then guided me to the world of cinema, where I contributed to films and advertising projects.

Driven by a desire to experiment and push boundaries, I delved into experimental music and video art, performing across Spain. Throughout these explorations, painting remained my constant companion and true passion.

The birth of my daughters marked a pivotal moment in my life, inspiring me to dedicate myself fully to painting. To deepen my practice, I studied at the Leith School of Art in Edinburgh, the Artesitio School of Art in Seville, and the Virtual Art Academy. I also had the privilege of learning from esteemed Spanish painters Benjamin Castillo and Ana Olías. Currently, I am furthering my studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Seville, embracing the belief that continuous learning is essential for artistic growth.
