Edward F Cardini

Born in Jersey City, New Jersey 1953.
What first inspired me to be an artist was seeing Michelangelo's Pieta at the worlds fair in New York City 1964, from that moment I knew that Art was my path. I moved to New England in 1969. I am influenced by many painters and writers.El Greco,Goya,VanGogh,Picasso,
Edward Hopper, Max Beckman. Carl Jung, Dogen Zenji, William Blake, Gabriel García Márquez, Thomas Mann, Thomas Merton, Joesph Campbell.

Began studying art in 1966. Studied drawing with Alphonse Shelton 1969-71. Plymouth State College 1971-72
