My first serious art class was the summer after I graduated High School, at the Rochester Institute of Technology. My art training continued at Monticello Junior College, in Godfrey, Illinois, where I took art & sculpting classes. It was here that I studied under Newell Hillis Arnold, who remains to this day one of my greatest artistic influences. It was Mr. Arnold who taught me how to see & create in a 3-dimensional depth of field. Art classes continued at the University of Miami, where I received my bachelor's degree. I then attended Florida International University, where I studied Landscape Architecture, and proceeded to work as a Landscape Architect with the incredible architect Adonay Bergamaschi.
Now my preferred mediums are Watercolor & Gouache, and my favorite subjects to paint are beaches & animals.
