Carolina Tangassi

Ann Carol Tangassi Regaert (1982, Mexico City).

She began painting at an early age and studied from 2002 to 2006 at the workshop of Mexican expressionist painter Gilberto Aceves Navarro (National Award of Science and Art 2003), she assisted to the National Art Plastic School, UNAM. She also studied art theory in Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City).

She has exhibited in over fourty exhibitions in galleries, museums and cultural spaces, some highlights which include: Galería Punto y Línea (Oaxaca, Mexico) Galería Kin (Mexico City), Tlalpan History Museum (Mexico City), Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros (Mexico City), Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico City), Museo de la Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico City), Pinacoteca of Volterra (Volterra, Italy), Biblioteca Nacional de Florencia (Florence, Italy), 12° Bienal La Habana Cuba ( Habana,Cuba), Galería Die Fárberie (Munich, Germany), Inmobiliaria Aden Immo (Berlin, Germany).

Her works are part of the collections: Ricardo B. Salinas Pliego, Fundación ESPAC, Fundación Cultural Domecq,Fundación Cultural Trabajadores de Pascual y del Arte A.C.
