Carol Mcdermott

Also known as paintercarol…Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, Carol now creates her art from a charming cottage nestled in the North Pennines, UK. Her body of work spans both abstract and representational styles, characterized by an underlying sense of mystery and a deep, mystical connection to nature. Her paintings are often intuitive and soulful, inviting the viewer into a world of wonder.

Reflecting on her artistic journey, Carol shares:
“Even after 34 years of painting professionally, I still find the process exhilarating and magical. My aim goes beyond mere self-expression. My focus is on uplifting the viewer, infusing their everyday life with a sense of happiness, joy, and vibrant energy.”
