Antoine Chapon

Born in Bordeaux (France) in 1952, Antoine Chapon first studied photography and had a studio for five years.
In 1980 he crossed the Atlantique in a sailboat and started to study watercolors on his own in Martinique.
In 1984 he settled on the island of Saint-Martin, and started a successful artistic carier.
In 2010 he started painting also in oil, a desire of more abstract creations.
In 2013 he started working on sculptures, a need to play with row materiels and three dimensions.
