Charlie Macpherson

Charlie is a disabled, usually impaired artist, with no hand function.

Charlie explores her canvas, using palette knifes and brushes taped to her non functioning hands, she allows her instincts to recreate the image she has in her mind. Working from the map In her mind, and trusting her layout and paint placement she creates coloured and textured work, but only sees a small blurry, misshapen grey scale version of what’s in front of her.
