Cheryl Clayton

I am Cheryl Clayton, a Virginia born artist, who concentrates on figurative drawings and paintings about the African-American community. Along with African-American themes, I also work on other subjects of our world. The paintings or drawings could be reality or abstract in concept. Some paintings could turn into an assemblage of materials to complete.

My main media is acrylic, charcoal, and sometimes watercolor.

I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
