Our quests for careers & fulfilling relationships & flatter stomachs & financial security can be so consuming and serious. My works are peppered with light-heartedness, daftness and general nonsense. Scattered throughout my home they act as little prompts, reminding me to take life a less seriously and to smile more. They are little bullshitometers that trigger recalibration of my approach to each day from must-be-proper-adult to life-is-short-enjoy-it.

I studied Fine Art History and Anthropology at the University of Western Australia, where I received my undergraduate degree and was awarded the Graduate Association Prize in Fine Arts. My art ranges from stodgy formal realism to flitty sketches, and my stylistic preference falls somewhere in the middle with full-bodied illustration.
