Corbyn Rhodes

Corbyn Rhodes is an International Artist who is know for his portrait works. He has painted portraits of major stars such as Kevin Hart's Comedy Tour, The Who Hits Back 2022 Tour and the Morgan Wallen 2022 Tour. He has sold works in London, Hong Kong, Japan, Canada and all over the United States" Corbyn states "Painting is a way to express thoughts, feelings, ideas and emotions. With many of my works I try to tell a story thru the piece itself. It may be in the subjects' eyes or the brush strokes or even the colors I use. Many times I use art as a way to highlight a particular person or event in history. I look for internal energy within the subject and try and find a way to express it visually. For me, Painting can challenge, frustrate and empower all at the same time. I want emotion and curiosity to play apart when someone views my work." Corbyn also has completed numerous commission works throughout the United States. His works are bold, dramatic and inspired by artist such as Andy Warhol.

Corbyn's Art education is the accumulation of many art courses and countless hours of online study. He states the best part of his education is traveling to some of the most famous museums in the world and actually seeing what he has studied studied. From the Met, to the MOMA in New York to the National Gallery and Tate in London, the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, to the Louvre and his time favorite Musee de O'rsay in Paris. Art education never stops, It is about observation and interpretation of what you see. It can be the subtle shadows or the bold colors in a sunrise.
