Collins Osemeke

Am a self taught contemporary visual artist, born and raised in Nigeria, and currently residing in India. My journey as an artist, started off at a pretty young age, and has spanned over three decades.

My works of abstract geometric expressionism captured through the lens of events from childhood to adulthood, cuts across various backdrops and borders.

In dealing with family love, tragedies, global conflicts, social-political and economic instability, religion, racial bias, festivities, cultures, people, lifestyles, norms and traditions, exposed me to a great level of understanding, knowledge and experience.

Art plays an important role in my life and is more a platform of activism for me, creating awareness of the need for us to unite as citizens of the human race irrespective of our differences.
