RECOGNITION

Lanre is a Nigerian-Canadian neo-pop artist who began his artistic career at a very early age, a visit with a master artist as a teenager inspiring him to take action and broadening his creative quest.

After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Lanre searched and experimented relentlessly for a new ways to depict his art.

Lanre's art is inspirational and philosophical, his past, present and future inspire him to work hard on his craft. His art is therapeutic, opening the mind to new possibilities, creating energy and providing comfort to the soul and spirit. His philosophy is that if you find work you love, you will never have to work a day in your life.

His art is now featured on calendars, throw pillows, wall clocks, rugs, leggings, tote bags, shower curtains, duvet covers, stationery, invitation cards, and book covers, including the booklet cover and invitation for International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) 2012 Champions for Change Awards Gala in Washington, DC where awardees included former US Secretary of States, Hillary Clinton and actor and activist Ashley Judd.
