Cristina Perneta

Cristina Perneta was born in Madeira, a little island in the North Atlantic Ocean, which means "wood" in Portuguese, because of the abundance of a native forest.
She grew up very close to nature and these memories she has in her heart are what drives her to create her landscapes e figurative themes. Her inspiration comes from a soul connection with Nature and the Land. The creative process starts in the studio in preparing the inks by hand with earth and natural pigments, that she currently finds on his island and from around the world.
