Daniel Wahlberg

Daniel was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1978. He graduated from GFU
(folkuniveritetet), Stockholm 2004, before furthering his studies at Fotoskolan i Stockholm where he graduated in 2006.

Daniel is a melancholy Artist, interested in nature in all its form, both from the countryside and city. His photographic style consist of roughness, contrasts, beauty and environmental content.
He also works as a photographer for the auction house Uppsala Auktionskammare and before that at Stockholms Auktionsverk. Where he is responsible for the artistic appearance and every thing that includes taking a picture. And has done so for the past twelve years.

Daniel grew up close to a 4H farm, where his mom worked, at the outskirts of Stockholm/Sweden and not too far from where he now have his home. There he find the contrasts of the city and the country life that he need to create the ideas that is close to him.

His work has been seen in a great bunch of magazines, catalogues and exhibits around the globe.
Since 2006 photography has been his livelihood.
