Danny Dickerson

I was born in Tennessee and raised in Wichita. I have been a resident of Wichita for over 20 years and graduated at Wichita Area Technical College in 2003 after studying Production Art. I have been drawing since I was a boy. As I grew up, I would often be sketching something during class rather then paying attention. I struggled in school but developed the ability to draw and use my imagination.

As my skills developed in time and I also explored different mediums such as charcoal, ink, oil, gouache, and acrylic. At this time in my life, I work in charcoal. I enjoy creating art and viewing art and pursue it personally as well as professionally.

I create art in hope of positively affect someone's mood. My art can be about anything but is often about happy or relaxing moments in life. I hope that someone who may be having a bad day can view my art and will feel a little better.
