artist and poet, born in 1979, Syria, live in Berlin, Germany.
My art project is an intellectual-philosophical-poetic project just as well as it is an art project. I want my paintings to provoke the viewer’s consciousness and subconsciousness together, as poetry does and as does a dream that wakes someone from his sleep, without entering into a conflict with the person, that is, without feeling that it is directed against the person personally. That is a great challenge because the current human being is in general a personal, egoistic creature, who is living in a religious, ideological closed circles..
All the topics I am working on are connected, and can be put under three broad headings: Eco-feminism, Krishnamurti Philosophy, and Depth Psychology. One of the mainstays of Eco-feminism is to see the interconnections between (nature, the different other, and women), and that means that any change in the awareness of the relationship with nature leads to a change in awareness of the relationship with women and with the other who is different from us, and vice versa. From this view there are many paintings with the theme Woman or Nature.
