David Cooke

I have always been inspired by the shapes and patterns within the natural world and began producing clay sculptures at a very early age. I can now create sculptures in a variety of materials using a wide range of skills. I have recently developed a technique for casting one-off bronzes that allows me to be loose and spontaneous and the resulting holes give the pieces an appealing fragmented quality.’

David Cooke has been a professional sculptor since graduating in 1992 from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in 3D Design.
