Debra Sutton

I am an Australian contemporary artist, predominantly self taught. I have always loved art and creating but only started taking my art practices seriously when I moved to the UK and began exhibiting my work in a small gallery in Glasgow. Upon returning to Australia I started selling my work again through an online gallery and have built up quite a number of collectors throughout Australia.
I was born in Sydney and grew up in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Now I'm based on the mid north coast of New South Wales where I am never at a loss for ideas or inspiration to paint...being surrounded by beautiful national parks and beaches. I love to work with acrylic or mixed media or paper or canvas and also love the unpredictable abstract nature of resin art. My work ranges from abstracted botanicals and still life and non objective pieces exploring colour and emotion.
