Dellfina Dellert

I’ve always had a fascination for the psychological aspects of life, the reason behind every deed, the definition of the truth. Both in my private and professional life I constantly analyze the border between subjective and objective, individual and collective, illusion and reality”.

Dellfina Dellert is an interdisciplinary artist, two time recipient of a grant from the Polish Ministry of Culture and the National Heritage. In her works she explores the innermost areas of human nature, focusing frequently on of sexuality, especially in the context of identity and self-acceptance. She is strongly inspired by a depth psychology of C. G. Jung (dream analysis, archetypes, shadow, alchemy, individuation). Very often she uses her own body as a medium.

She works also as an independent journalist, screenwriter and director. She often collaborates with human rights and public interest organisations. To promote sexual health and wellbeing, she co-created Femmera, the first online social networking service for women focused on exploration and development of their sexuality (2013-2015).
