Desiree Elizabeth Malan

I'm a multi-disciplinary artist and don't believe in limiting yourself to one art form. One day I might be making jewellery, another cyanotypes, collage or ceramics. I strive to create artwork that celebrates the natural world and find inspiration from the rural landscape and ocean in my home country. I don't always know where I'm going with my creations but I try not to overthink things and to create without limitations or fear.

I studied Graphic Design at a tertiary institution many moons ago but didn't complete the course. I am mostly self taught and have completed numerous short courses and workshops in various art disciplines.
