Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Dexter Percival-Cobb is a self taught artist, developing his personal style over his whole life. More recently, Dexter has delved into deeper meanings within his artworks, analysing both himself and his conflicts with various subjects, such as politics, religion, and mundanity, as well as exploring the ever-present aesthetics of architecture and the human body.
Dexter holds inspiration within Basquiat, Bacon, Schiele, Twombly and many more, as well as the more constant inspiration of the world around him.
