Dominique Ganiage

Dominique Ganiage is a french artist.
Her work is about life, body, faces with some resonance with Ousmane Sow. She extends recenttly practice to lanscape and nature.
Her favorite medium is clay, colored or not with pigments and wax.
Her sculptures retain its essence : clay-terracotta- refers to earth, our origins, telluric forces going beyond us.. But if she keeps part of it’s roughness, her work always combines strengh and sensibility. A sculpure emerge from it to a new life...
