My abstract art is about line. Line can be thick, thin, rough, smooth, curvy or straight. Line defines space by separating areas and connecting others. Line surrounds us from the receding lines of railroad tracks to the lines composing the letters on this page. I hope you will look at my paintings with line in mind.
My landscape paintings attempt to capture a feeling of peace and tranquility, providing a visual break from our hectic world. As I visit different areas I am always amazed by our natural vistas. I like wide horizons with lots of "air". I hope my paintings provide a place to stop and savor the incredible beauty of nature, letting the mind rest and appreciate our wonderful planet.
