EXHIBITIONS
Diana Rubi is a young fine art photographer and visual artist born in Cuba and currently living in the USA. She uses photo manipulation to create surreal scenarios that talk about emotions, dreams, as well as real and fictional stories, using mostly her body as a container of characters that embody different stories.
After studying Fine Arts, Diana discovered her passion for photography, making these two the perfect union to arrive at a pictorial style photography, her work presents in a poetic and metaphorical way characters that she decontextualizes from their living role turning them into completely different ones.
Her greatest passion is telling stories in order not only to satisfy herself but to show others a part of themselves.
