ABOUT
EXHIBITIONS
RECOGNITION

I was born and educated in Manchester, England, where I studied art under Harold Riley, one of England's top artists. I arrived in South Africa in 1971 and worked for many years as an architectural draughtswoman in Somerset West. After raising my family I took up painting again in the mid-1990s.

My work hangs in many private collections around the world. I am represented in various galleries in South Africa and have my own studio in Somerset West.

I love to experiment with different techniques, styles and media so that my work is constantly evolving and changing. My artwork ranges in size from 200mm x 200mm miniatures to large canvases up to 1200mm x 780mm.

I have been a member of the South African Society of Artists since 2005 and I currently chair the Western Cape Artists' Society.

I have my own studio and art gallery - Bright Street Gallery - in Somerset West (near Cape Town) where I exhibit my artwork alongside other local artists.
