Dio Usero

Colour is the hero of the artistic work of Diocrecia Usero. This Aragonese painter, has spent all her adult life painting as a hobby. At the age of 5, she started scribbling and since then, she has hardly ever put down her brush. Her work is mainly paintings based on oil on canvas and watercolors. After a series of portraits, which include those of many writers of The Generation of 27, those she now exhibits are marked by a new inspiration: The Look. A new way of painting based on drawing, incorporating a great variety of colours which allow the faces to come alive.

She has received lessons at the 'Atrium' Art School for 10 years in Zaragoza.
