I was born 1955 in a little town in the northern Poland (Lidzbark Warmiński), then moved together with parents to the South (Silesia). When I met my wife early 80s we moved to Oświecim, well known globally as Auschwitz. This is where I work and live as a sculptor. I create sculptures mainly in bronze and do all parts from the idea and design to casting or sanding alone, with my own hands.
I studied SCULPTURE at the University in Cracow (Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow) as I always knew it would be my profession. My graduation work from 1979 still decorates the front of my house and workplace. I falled in love with bronze during the university studies and since that time this is the only thing I know and practise.
I exhibit my works mainly locally and at galleries in the country (mostly because of transportation issue of huve artworks). If you are interested to get more information please visit my homepage www.remigiuszdulko.pl - pressclub
