Anastasia Eclosque

Anastasia is a self-taught abstract artist based in Riga, Latvia, and a founder of eclosque. Anastasia is fascinated by how elegant, soulful, classy, and powerful abstraction can be and how she can translate feelings & emotions through it.

Her art practice is oriented towards explorations of the aesthetics of beauty and her work usually features complex sophisticated shades, movement and textures. Composition always plays an important role in her work. She often aims to represent femininity and masculinity at the same time. Therefore, her charming and romantic paintings are often bold and edgy too. Calm, poetic yet often energetic.

While Anastasia’s painting process is intuitive and playful, she deliberately adds every single brush stroke and carefully builds up paint layers. She often juxtaposes lightness and darkness as well as uses gold in her work.

She is deeply inspired by anything that has elegance, thoughtfulness, or stylish feel to it, from architecture to fashion. She is inspired by nature’s textures and earthy muted tones. Her goal is to bring joy and elegance to homes, spaces and designs around the world. To bring inspiring moments to everyone who enjoys living a beautiful life.
