No matter what I’ve done in my life, I’ve always tried to embrace my endless creativity and passion. It’s in my DNA.
I’ve had a diverse career as a marketing and branding consultant, copywriter, graphic designer, author, professional speaker, singer-songwriter, educator, television show host, and nonprofit executive. I studied music and art as part of my education, graduating with an honors Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees.
I was born in London, Ontario, grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and lived in Toronto, Ontario for 30 years. I relocated to Arizona in 2004, becoming a U.S. citizen in 2014. I hold dual citizenship.
During my youth, I always thought I’d be a performer on stage, singing my original songs to audiences everywhere. At the time, there were few women succeeding in pop music. (Think back to Anne Murray, Olivia Newton-John, and Joan Jett.) I did some demo recordings and performed in some coffee houses. When that didn’t pan out, I accepted it and moved on, finding different outlets for my creativity.

“Saguaro Against a Purple Sky” was selected for the Perspectives of Phoenix exhibit by the Greater Phoenix Economic Council
“Ocotillos” was selected for The Desert Exhibit at the Herberger Art Galleries.
My painting, “Old Abandoned Wooden House” was selected for the Tiny Exhibit at the Herberger Art Galleries in the Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix.
My painting, “China National Tea Museum” was selected for a month-long Nature Exhibit at the Herberger Art Galleries in the Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix.
In 2023, two paintings. “Sunset Clouds,” and “Saguaro Sunset,” were selected for an exhibition entitled, “Greater Phoenix Pastimes” by the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
“Spring at Bartlett Lake” received Honorable Mention of the ArtCabbage Prize 2024, Painting Section.
Three paintings were selected by the Greater Phoenix Economic Council for its Snapshot of Greater Phoenix exhibit.
